Welcome to the CCA 2008 Creativity Conference Photo Album.
We've posted this collage of the people and events to highlight the CCA’s first creativity coaching conference. Let us show you what you can look forward to when you attend the 2010 CCA Conference. Also, we’ve shared some comments from the people who attended.
The setting in Lake George at the Fort William Henry hotel was fitting; a historical site for a historical event. One could feel the history in the mists riding on the evening cruise around the lake and walking about the fort and hotel grounds. The CCA Conference offers a weekend of workshops, networking and exhibitions that provides an atmosphere of connectivity for creativity coaches and creative thinkers. This inaugural conference yielded rich results beyond all expectations.
Being the first conference, members felt the thrill of the expedition as like-minded people came together to explore this new, budding field. The presentations covered a wide range of coaching topics; brainstorming business tools as well as methods for sparking one's creativity. Electrifying, edifying and exuberant sum up the atmosphere created in the workshops. From dream work journaling to wakeful visualization techniques, conference goers traversed mind, body, and spirit – taking in boundless creative energies and putting forth renewed creative intentions. A unique quality of all creativity coaches is that they are also creative thinkers and doers. A creativity coach not only practices creative expression, producing creative works, and living the creative life, but brings all that personal experience and knowledge to the coaching arena.
Whether you are a creativity coach, wonder how to become a creativity coach, or want to find a creativity coach, Welcome! Feel the vibe and share the joy of being part of the vision – helping creative people throughout the world discover their highest creative potential. Visit the bio pages of our coach members and start planning for the 2010 CCA Conference. Let creativity be your life!

"Energy, Vitality, Camaraderie, I connected with these creative sparks and much more at the CCA Conference. The people I met for the first time are now long-time friends. It was wonderful to be in the company of creatives who love learning as much as I do.
I look forward to next year!"

"The CCA and the creativity conference provide the perfect opportunity to share innovative ideas about creativity coaching so we can help our clients develop their creative potential and apply it to everything from the arts to business."
- Lynn Wyvill
"What a conference! Just a note to let you know I returned home last night filled with wonderful ideas, great memories and lots of concrete things to consider in terms of my own creative future. I cannot believe how quickly I felt part of the group and how impressed I was with the level of energy, input and sheer brainpower the members possess. Please count me in for future events! "

"The conference was absolutely great. I learned a tremendous amount about creativity and about creativity coaching. It was all of very great value to me. The presentations that I attended were all excellent--very informative, very well presented and very inspiring. I came away from the conference with a whole notebook full of specific ideas that are going to boost my coaching practice right into orbit. And in the week since the conference, as I processed everything, I came up with an incredibly exciting idea for a book. I cannot imagine how the experience could have been better or more rewarding for me. Professionally, as a creativity coach, I'd be lost without CCA. You provide the support, the tools and the international reach that is helping to make creativity coaching the respected and valued profession that we all know it can be. Thank you so much. "

"I so enjoyed being part of the first-ever CCA conference. I had a great time...and that was because you had such a great vision and did a wonderful job organizing it and us. Seems like you thought of just about everything we might need or want! "

“The First CCA Creativity Conference was a fantastic event. It was really exciting to meet some of the coaches I've talked to on the phone and whose profiles I read on the website. There was a community feeling – a warm and welcoming energy among coaches, artists and guests. The workshops I attended were provocative and filled with essential information -- an inspiring and informative weekend. I learned so much and met so many talented and smart people - So glad I attended.”
- Steve Harper
"Why attend a (creativity) conference, especially the first one? Because it energizes you to work harder on your coaching career and your creative projects. Attending the conference was one of the best decisions I made for my business this year, and it being the first one made me feel like I was a part of the CCA's history. I met coaches from all over the continent...I networked with people working in areas similar to mine -- writers, writing coaches and journaling dream work coaches...had a great time on the evening cruise and at the Saturday night music fest. I feel more a part of this new, growing field and more confident in the benefits creativity coaching provides to the world-wide creative community we serve. It was all good! The synchronicity flowed wild and rampant all weekend! I highly recommend you make it your goal to attend next year. I'm certainly going to."

"October 4 and 5 saw a creative breakthrough in Lake George, New York. The Creativity Coaching Association held its first conference. A group of artists, creative thinkers and creativity coaches gathered to hear speakers, attend workshops and have some creative fun. If you missed it this year, sign up for 2010 -- the event will be in Lake George, New York again, the third weekend in October–the 16th through the 18th. Experience the joy of being surrounded by creative people for yourself."
- Quinn McDonald
I attended the CCA conference in beautiful Lake George NY.
It was invigorating! The Association under the guidance of Beverly Down is in its formative years...A good deal of time was spent discussing Word of Mouth
Marketing and How to use the Internet to your advantage. Other workshops
taught practical exercises to unleash creativity. The facilitators came
from all across the continent and some were EXCEPTIONAL. There are many
layers of education available through a vibrant CCA. The Association
mandates a collaborative and supportive foundation for coaches. I
encourage everyone to join and volunteer as you are able. It is a rare
opportunity to influence the formation of something that will benefit so
many creative people.
