Philosophy:

I was a late-bloomer. After years of dreaming about being an artist and writer, waiting for the right time, place and know-how, my creative passion finally boiled over into decisive action. With 6 children, aging parents to care for, no space and fragments of time, I took my creativity into my own hands. Along my road to success I realized how life-changing a creative practice can be and wanted to help every woman who might be struggling to live her dreams.

My real-world, practical experience with the obstacles women face when claiming their creativity provides me with the insight and skills to help women navigate the path to their creative success. I share my guidance and know-how through my books, newsletter, workshops, Red Thread Retreat and one-on-one coaching.

Methods of Working:

Phone, Zoom, Email, In-person
(prefer phone or Zoom)

Specializations:

I specialize in working with baby-boomer women and younger women mired in motherhood who struggle with creating and sustaining a creative practice.

Individual Services:

The way to avoid the Creativity Gap is to first understand the stages of the creative process and how they personally affect you. We will find, define and work to resolve the issues, both obvious and hidden that keep you from living the life of creative expression that you yearn for.

Workshops:

I teach art, bookmaking and writing classes and workshops that offer a safe space for women to find a way in to their dormant creativity, discover their voice, experiment with a variety of media and ideas, stretch their creative muscle and make their soul visible. My focus is on art and writing that reflects the person, not the technique.
