Philosophy:

Human beings are like snowflakes - no two of us are alike. I approach creativity in a personalized "snowflake-specific" way. I do my best to walk with each client on their own individually beautiful and creative path.

Individual Services offered:I listen, suggest, show, observe, teach, think and then listen some more. I like to start with an assessment, such as Draw A Person Picking An Apple From A Tree, or a simple questionnaire. With clients I've done...music therapy, songwriting, transitional music, creative writing (an adolescent group wrote a newspaper), creating books, exploring gardening, painting, papier mache, assemblage, magazine photo collage...in short, I will do whatever it takes to connect in a positive way with each client.

 

Training and Experience:

Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute.
Master of Letters with a concentration in the Writing of Poetry from Drew University.
BA in voice and composition from New York University.

Additional Comments:

I wrote Find Your Passion because I believe in the creativity of each person. I've been blessed with a natural creativity, so I studied myself and my own habits and then put it all together in this small workbook. My hope is that people will enjoy it and reap the rewards of an emotionally enriched life.
