Philosophy:
It is our nature to be creative. At its most authentic, creativity is a natural manifestation of and flow from our wisdom mind, universal mind or any other name we feel best describes this. Often this spontaneous flow can be blocked due to negative conditioning, fear, anxiety, depression and so on, so one aim of our work together can be to help you learn to connect or reconnect with this radiant, awake and naturally creative being that you are, along with helping you clarify your personal beliefs and values. We also clarify concerns and explore options for ways forward on your chosen issues, and create action plans that are aligned with your personal values. I can be both gently supportive and actively challenging to help you focus on taking real ownership for becoming more aware and accountable for moving forward. Depending on your personal interests we can work at both deeply personal and spiritual levels and also at very practical, nuts and bolts levels – they are not mutually exclusive!
Methods of Working:
Phone, email, SKYPE and in person sessions available daytime, evening and weekends. Distance sessions can be mixed and matched with in person creativity retreats of whatever length you want in peaceful, rural Bressingham, Norfolk UK. I can also travel nationally and internationally.
My focus is on benefitting you: I am totally supportive, professional and non judgemental, and all of our work together is completely confidential. I use methods from coaching, art teaching, meditation, mindfulness based stress reduction and art therapy. It will depend on what your needs are as to what methods are used, and I will always ask your permission before we work with a particular approach. When your first contact me we will discuss your issues and needs and how you might like to work initially.
